I recently just started playing B2, and I just found out about the patches.
My game client says 1.0------ (forgot the rest), but I know it's an unpatched version.
I downloaded the 1.50 Beta 2 Patch, and when I try to apply/install it, I get the message in the topic.
Once again, Google didn't help me. ):
Help anyone?

EDIT: Forget the betas...
I reinstalled the game and it worked fine, but then I tried patch 1.41 and it won't load! When I double-click it, it loads to a black screen, flickers a bit, then returns me to the desktop.
I then tried patching 1.51 Beta 1, but it still wouldn't load.
Do I need to patch in a certain order?
Like original > 1.4 > 1.41.. etc?
Because I just went straight from an unpatched version to 1.41, but I don't think it matters.. =\
I've got Windows XP Home Edition by the way.
EDIT2: I tried the No-CD/Fixed EXE mini-image and replaced the cracked EXE file with the original, but it still doesn't work.
I'm assuming that it's a problem with one of my settings on my computer. =\
