battery die losses

I was just playing the last level of Still Alive on DS and I finally managed to get all the cakes, halfway through my jump to the finish line the battery dies.
Let's hear some other tales of batteries dying at the worst possible point.
PSP, etc, maybe even if your wiimote died while fighting ganon

also, my battery died back when I was playing Another Code for the first time, I was half a second away from learning who the murderer was

Well, the funniest one I remember: I was playing Endless Ocean with SpikeyNDS, then the battteries in my wiimote died, my poor scuba guy was swiming in circles for like 40 minutes

i was playing Pokemon Fire Red
when i get to fight those Bastards in the final Gym or whatever u call it ..
i fought till i got to the last one i think (i didn't save at that time, lol)
then my batteries Died on me (i was playing with the old GBA) >

I've never had anything bad tbh. I tend to run upstairs if i'm doing something important and plug it in if I see the light go red.

Worst i've had is a disconnect while winning mario kart on wifi

Darn that battery.
