Can someone explain to me in detail what I have to do with my old emunand data if i cant acess gateway menu anymore? Is there any way to partition the SD card exactly like the Gateway would do and transfer the emunand data in there so it recognizes it? I really want to try it because i have the feeling that i cant acess gateway menu anymore because of the emunand shit

why cant you access the gateway menu no more?....have you pressed "L" when entering gateway mode?....or just pop the gateway card out, either way and it will take you to the gateway menu

a) it says 7.2.0-11E
b) 3DS Card
c) no
hmmmm well if the SD card shows up as "3DS card" it sounds like you never set emunand up on it (unless you changed the name afterwards), when you format emunand the SD card gets renamed to "GATEWAYNAND"

im just wondering if you could of accidentally partially updated sysnand.....but idk how to tell if a system has been partially updated to 9.x if it was already in 7.x, used to be looking for the miierse icon to see if a 4.x console was partially updated to 7.x+, but idk what would be changed on a 7.x+ partially updated conse, idk if the themes would have to show up or not

suppose you could test smealums regionthree and see if that boots up and triggers a retail game to boot (i dont think region matters for testing purposes).....but if it boots the game when you use regionthree, your either partially updated.....or i suppose there is a possibility you have a fake SD card and emunand take up all the real space and the launcher.dat is actually corrupted....hmmm it might be that

check you SD card with H2TESTW and make sure its legit

Ok im gonna check it but what is smealums regionthree ive never heard of it

so wait, backing up emunand involves keeping a file the size of your sd card somewhere ?
Any way to just have the 1gb nand partition backed up and keep the files in a folder near by ?

My NAS isn't limitless unfortunately.

I just have the emunand data and everything visible that was on the sd card after emunand.
