Hi. I've been searching for a tutorial or some sort of info on this but I can't seem to find anything. I've got rebug 4.82.2 CFW on my PS3 (currently in CEX mode), it's been working nicely for months. Recently I decided I'd like to play Assassins creed revelations, which I originally bought way back when on PSN along with all its DLC in a bundle. However I had a look on PSNDL and although they have the main revelations game on there, they don't have any of the DLC extras. So I thought I'd take the risk, and connect to my PSN account so I could download revelations.

First of all, I've gone and put webMAN-MOD on my PS3. I believe that is all I technically need to access PSN vaguely safely without getting my account or console banned by pressing a button combination to delete logs and syscalls or, something. But my question arises; assuming for example I did get account banned, I'd be presumably unable in future to download any purchases as a result. So when I go online this one time to download stuff, I want to be able to back it all up so I don't have to go online again if it comes to pass I wind up needing to reinstall anything. I presume that I need the install PKG, and also the license RAP.

So can anyone tell me when I download the files where do they get stored? I'm assuming that the PKG is put somewhere on the HDD until it's actually installed so I could have that chance to copy it somewhere safe. What about the license rap? The reason I'm asking instead of just doing it and having a look for the files myself is because I don't want to go online and download these things (thus exposing myself to possibly getting banned) only to find there's no way to back them up even on CFW. As such if there is no way to back them up I just won't bother going online and will use PSNDL instead and live without the DLC and other stuff.

Anyway thanks for any help!

Edit: Well since no one bothered to try and help I asked on another forum and got an answer. For anyone searching for the same shit as I did and not getting the desired results, basically you can download the pkg files to your computer from Sony's own servers if you want, there's a link to the backend of SEN (have a look at psxhax dot com/threads/playstation-pkg-files-json-entitlement-grabber-add-on-by-al-azif.3393 - I'd post an actual link but apparently I'm not allowed due to being a new member) of the SEN service you can access (provided you're logged in) that lets you see your entitlements and download the json for that page, which you open it in a text editor and it'll contain links to everything you've ever downloaded on PSN. But that only gives you the pkg's not the licenses to play them which is effectively useless to me, but it still might be handy to someone wanting to back there pkg's up or if there's some method of creating a rap file license out of thin air (doubt it). Essentially the only way I can do anything like I want to without any major hassle is to just connect to PSN, download the files to my PS3 and install them, and backup my licenses and pkgs that way. Basically the way I was asking about, though I now know where the pkg's get downloaded too and where the licenses are stored. All I need to do is connect to PSN. Except I can't because of 4.83, so now I've got to go pissing around spoofing my PS3's firmware version using SEN Enabler or some shit like that because Rebug haven't released a 4.83 firmware yet.

Oh well, whatever.
