Hi. I've just backed-up my n3DS to my PC.

In this process, I realized I have to update everything; my Luma was outdated, that's why I couldn't boot the GodMode9, my GodMode 9 was also outdated, and even my JKSM is of 2016! How do you guys keep your CFW & Homebrews updated? Do you also manually download them every time one of them updates?

Thank you

P.S. I used the TitleDB function in FBI to check if my Homebrews are updated. Now, like FreeShop, the TitleDB function is gone T^T

Yeah, we manually redownload them. It isn't that hard. Some of us even wish we could do it more often...

For Luma you can use the Luma updater, and some apps (like FBI, remember to update that too) have a built in updater, but you need to manually check for updates every time.

What I do is, using an RSS reader (there are plenty on the Chrome web store/Firefox store), for every homebrew I have, I go to the GitHub releases page, and subscribe to the "<homebrew name> Release Notes" feed, so everytime one of the homebrew applications gets updated, I get a notification

There's no point really in looking for auto updaters, as quite often they can mess things up since you don't get to read the changelogs even though they can be very important (eg: when Luma changed from a9lh to b9s and added Rosalina). I honestly have no problem with checking for new updates manually, it only takes a moment to see if there's anything new after all and you pretty much only get like 1 homebrew at a time you need to update at most. For example, I got like 10 homebrews, don't care about updating until they stop working or I hear a major update was released (eg: I'm ~4 whole versions behind on nds-bootstrap as I got no reason to update and break compatibility with what's working now in order to use the newer functions because when I look up updates manually I can see the changes and decide if they are even worth it).

Sir, I am having difficulty understanding the significance of these pictographs. I see a man with purple hair in green tunic, someone with glasses, and a redhead. Could you perhaps point out what I should be looking at, like with circling or highlights? Thanks. If you're reading this, this is a continued joke of (click on the dot) .
