Does reiNX have auto-power off feature?
is reinx displaying any splashcreen when you power off your console?
it can be a hint to know it properly shutdown the console or not.

a solution if ReiNX payload doesn't support auto-power off is to use hekate payload to boot reinx, so hekate will be responsible for the console power management.
or manually select power off when you are back in reinx.

How have you fitted your chip? With straps?

Yes, although I have autorcm installed to save fuses, upgraded with choudujournx from 3.01 to 6.2

If you are booting with Simple-UF2, with AutoRCM and an internal chip, it should completely power down depending on fitting method. If you are using old method 3 then you will always get parasitic drain.

I used the universal fitting method, straps and everything. Could I have a faulty install?
