Atmopshere + Applet Mode Help Required

Hello,

I just updated my switch from 11.0.0 to 13.2.1 and added atmopshere.
Atmopshere boots no problem but when i try to access homebrew nothing works as i believe the issue is applet mode.
I understand i would normally hold R when selecting a game but since the move no games will load.
Can someone kindly explain how i can fix this issue please.

I have installed tinfoil but when i hold R it does not go into homebrew menu.
