Hi, this is my Atari 5200, I´m using a 12v 2A power supply (I don´t know if it´s too much...I read somewhere that has an internal voltage regulator...=(

led turns red (on), but all it gives me is green screen, here in my country is a rarity, so no donor 5200 for me and my electronical knowledge is limited, what can I do?

I resocket al the chips and no luck.....Can somebody help me? Is something I can test to know what is faulty?

thanks to all

Try taking it apart and pushing the chips down into their sockets and/or re-solder any cracked old solder joints.

Most likely it is some bad ram, the other symptom is a bad PIA, but they rarely ever go bad.
