Eh. Lots of people don't know how to google though. I agree. The one issue is that it has changed too much since I used it (5 weeks ago -ish)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And it now recommends Cakes FW
It gives options both for CakesFW and AuReiNAND

The guide has been cleaned up and made AuReiNand the primary cfw in the guide, with the optional rxTools. I also added some optional recommendations in a separate section.

I don't want it built, I want to edit the code and turn of the FIRM0FIRM1 patch shit so I can use sysNAND :P
You need FIRM0 and FIRM1 patching to use SysNAND.

Really, don't use rxTools for a9lh, it's dangerous and incomplete.

If you really want it, checkout the arm9loaderhax branch of the rxTools github repo.

Can't you take the added code from https://github.com/AuroraWright/AuR...2de18957e6e9de90cd2aa7b3a4cf/source/patches.h and https://github.com/AuroraWright/AuR...2de18957e6e9de90cd2aa7b3a4cf/source/patches.c and apply them into the arm9loaderhax release of rxTools?

You don't need to worry about it if you don't have arm9loaderhax.

If you do just don't upgrade SysNAND.

Formatting SysNAND may also overwrite arm9loaderhax but I'm not sure.
I have it set up, AuReiNand with no emuNAND and 10.7 sysNAND.

Master-race dream.

Upgrading is pretty much the only thing that will do a FIRM overwrite then.
Okay, so when I get a build with my little adjustments, just downgrade to whatever and update to 10.7 and it'll remove a9lh?

*see if it overwrites ;)

Depends which CFW you're using. AuReiNAND protects FIRM0/1 updates so it won't overwrite arm9loaderhax.

Last edited by astronautlevel,
You can try to set it up if you want. You'd need to adjust the source code of rxTools though, so good luck. Don't complain if you end up on 10.7 with no a9lh.
Just downgrade again. 10.7 left memchunkhax3 (& knuckles) usable. Unless I'm wrong.

Yeah, I'm aiming for rxTools with FIRM0/1 patch blocking.
If you do make rxTools with the patching, send me a link, and I'll update the guide.
