Vegetarian lasagne is not lasagne and should not be called lasagne. Once you remove the meat from a lasagne you have removed the very key ingredient that makes a lasagne a lasagne.
That's just silly, "lasagna" is the name of the pasta, it's like saying "vegetarian spaghetti is not spaghetti". That's silly. Don't be silly.

So a classic lasagna is a dish made from meat sauce... and lasagna. So what is that lasagna made of? Meat sauce and smaller lasagna? And that one? More meat sauce and even smaller lasagna? And when you go far enough you find out "lasagna" is actually just the meat sauce all the way down? It's like "pie flavored pie" or the fact that Kit-Kat filling is made of ground-up Kit-Kats. Where does it end? :ohnoes:

You're being silly.

How is the hard for you to understand?

If you remove milk from butter do you still have butter? No you have god awful Margarine.

Thus the same principle must apply to lasgne

Well this is @AmandaRose right now.

If you make fish pie but replace the fish with vegetables do you still have fish pie? Nope
you have veg pie.
So if you remove an optional ingredient and replace it with another optional ingredient you can't still call it after the first ingredient, you call it after the other ingredient? So if you take meat out of lasagna and you replace it with vegetables you can't call it lasagna and have to call it... a vegetable lasagna instead?

Also there is no such thing as an apple pie because pies are traditionally made with meat so an "apple pie" isn't a pie, it's "pie filling baked in a pie crust" but not a pie!

If you remove milk from butter do you still have butter? No you have god awful Margarine.
If you remove milk from butter you have nothing because butter is made from milk. If your butter is made from milk and margarine you're being scammed.

If I removed your brain and replaced it with electromechanical devices you would no longer be scientifically a human you would be a Cyborg.

Thus my argument about replacing meat with veg in a lasagne must be scientifically correct.

In both cases all that has changed is a key ingredient. Your brain and the meat sauce.

If you removed my brain and replaced it with a computer, but then implanted my brain into a robot, who would be the "real" Veho?
(If you replaced my brain with a computer it might actually work for a change  )
(I have just one request... don't run Linux on it  )

I honestly thought you guys didn't like each other when I saw the first few volleys. Clutching mah pearls for a second there.
Nah I have a weird sense of humour and as Veho has known me for a long time they got I was just being a goof for the hell of it.

I genuinely don't give a shit about vegetarian lasagne being called lasagne lol.

Country Crock is still the shit. I LOVE butter, but it's like four dollars a pound now. A tub of that good old plasticky oil blend gets my English muffins soaked in salty, heart-stopping goodness for months.
