Hacking Are all Wiis hackable?

Hi all,

I have a hacked Wii, but I want to buy a spare Wii and hack it.
Are all Wiis (including the new ones with no GC ports) hackable?
Are some Wiis better than others? Do I need to look out for something when I buy a used one?

All Wiis are hackable except for Wii Minis. The degree of what they can do varies from Wii to Wii though. Older ones can read DVD backups while newer ones cannot.

Also, should I get a Wode? Or is it pretty useless?

WODE is pretty much useless considering that it offers nothing unique to the table. You can do USB loading with softmod, and Nintendo only bans people who cheated online (unlike PS3 CFW carries the risk of being banned even if you don't cheat).

Yep, Wii Minis are pretty much useless for hacking but all other versions of the Wii can be hacked just fine
