Do you guys think that someday, after some evolution of the WiiU scene, we will be able to 'hack' amiibos?

I was thinking about using one amiibo and injecting another amiibo file on it... Or something like that.

Ex: Buy peach amiibo, but being able to extract it's "save" and inject ,for example, Pit's "saavefile" .I tought about it as " Using one amiibo as as many as you can " .

    Thanks for the answers...

Possibly. But an Amiibo's actual character data might not be re-writable.

I'd like it very much for amiibos I wouldn't want to purchase as I try to be picky about them.

I'm not sure but what about looking at Super Smash Bros. executable (cross_f.rpx) ? This game can write amiibo data, maybe this process can be reversed to understand how data is read/written ? Sadly, the executable came without symbols, it would take forever to reverse even with PPC knowledge. :(

I'm not sure about modifying amiibo data since I haven't looked into it, but spoofing is really simple with any modern Android device. Writing back to emulated tags can give issues, though.

They'll 'gift' us by showing up and showing off, but not by actually giving away the goods :P

I think demos are pretty good vs. better than nothing.
