one hell of a good application, i always use tona's for downgrading various wii's for people

you always usually get a minor error somewhere along the downgrade, which is nothing....

It's now very impossible to change your shop region.

When you create a shop account, it locks you in to your current region on the server side.

If you try to change your shop region and revisit the shop, it will complain very loudly.

You will be stuck in your original region until you delete your shop account.

10/23/08 is a bit vague to base a search on.
The 10/23/08 update was the one where all IOS were updated to have the signing bug fixed. If you tried to downgrade your Wii to 3.2 using my application (Or tried to go from e.g. 3.2E to 3.2J), it would need to download and patch an IOS to allow this. Previously, it was grabbing the latest IOS35 regardless--which made many things fail, since many of the functions of the program relied on fakesigning.
Now, that issue is fixed.
You wouldn't notice it unless you try to do downgrades.

About IOS35, could someone please clue me in to what the nice version is? The only way I know to check the full version I have installed is to use bushing's title lister app.

Anyway, I was at 3.3, then I used the Oct.23 workaround, then I used Waninkoko's IOS downgrader (I thought it was cIOS downgrader at the time) and then cIOS downgrader to get my wii back to 3.2U.

So, I think everything works, but jik I ever need a drivechip and trucha signed stuff, I'm concerned about all of my relevant IOS versions.

Oh, can anything along these lines be gleaned from a fs dump? I don't know the fs tree, so I'm lost there, but I have a decrypted dump of my nand.

Yep, that's what I fixed.

cool, glad that's fixed i knew it wasn't nothing major, but at least that minor error is out of the picture..

Tona...great job man.... this app has definately saved alot of us facing different scenarios for installing starfall and the sort....

If you don't have this app in your apps folder for homebrew....you are definately missing an important tool for you noobs..

tona would it be possible that you implement a function to patch the signing bug back into every ios you install with any region changer?
