Me would thinks that there will definitely be Atlus games in the near future. There always is... though can't say that I'm a fan that needs to play every game from Atlus. They're not all that great on the PSP.

Uh, they localized the first 3 Persona remakes for the system, not to mention Crimson Gem Saga, Knights in the Nightmare, the Riviera remake (port?), and they're localizing Gungir and Growlanser IV. Not to mention a ton of other stuff they've localized for the system.

Uh, Persona and Riviera are terrible even when they werent ports, and Knights has no business not having touch controls. And gem saga is yet another traditional rpg. So what if it has good art and spritework. Its still way too formulaic.

Story and localization also got praised (it also got praised for the traditional RPG because, really? you can't down mark that, isn't that what everyone wants?)

Hexyz Force and Kenka Bancho also come to mind, they are great games too.

Basically you're just hating on Atlus because they do quite a lot for the fans (If you disagree, please redirect your attention to Growlanser)

Persona 4 The Golden, coming out soon in Japan
There's also TBA Shin Megamitensei (that means SMT, not Persona...persona isn't a SMT except America (maybe Euro))

Well saying "Persona is terrible" kinda basically makes you automatically dislike anything Atlus would produce so why even bother complaining? I mean you've clearly shown that you don't like anything Atlus produces anyway. What do you expect them to localize?

P4 is the only game im aware of that is being released on the PSV that is from atlus. I agree. I totally love atlus. Now the only thing atlus is lacking is a game like the DDS that was on the PS2. Surely persona is similiar, or almost the same? But sometimes i prefer the usual adventure-like gameplay DDS offered me..

I liked Knights with touch controls.
Liked Yggdra too.
Riviera was just bleh.
Loved me some Twin age

I dont hate Atlus. I like them. I just don't think they're as great/godly as people make em out to be.

Oh...there's one problem though. Index may be gone sometime this year....if that happens, hope some company that isn't SquareEnix or BandaiNamco take over the Game division of Index (Atlus) with the current remaining staffs.

Those aren't Atlus games though, the first three are Sting, the last is Flight Plan. So basically you don't like Atlus, but you do like Atlus USA, which brings games from awesome to terrible to the US.

How exactly does translating a game make it terrible?

No, they bring games from awesome (knights in the nightmare) to terrible (tokyo beatdown) to the US.
