There is only one person I know of who is restoring switches from miraculous states of f'ed up-edness. I think this person is only looking to work on "unique" situations at this point, but a method to restore is undoubtedly close. I had my switch restored by this person, and I can definitely say this process is not for the end user ATM.
**Edit** This definitely doesn't mean this is the only person whom can do this, just the only willing one I've found...

I have an issue. My switch is bricked and only boots to RCM mode. I have a kernel from a different switch that is on a higher firmware version. Can I use that to restore my switch. I also tried using memload to load my switch on my windwos pc and it didnt work. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but can someone point me in the right direction to fix my switch.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that

@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.+1 -

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
