Got it to work.

Arm7 fixed and then patched with the new Rudolph patch.

Crashes after about 100 events on a G6 Lite, but a lot better than nothing.

How did you get it to work excactly? I mean I must be doing something wrong because I get the same problem with every single different soulsilver rom and that's that I can't save! I got a rom a while ago that WAS patched (of course now it's nowhere to be found) and I could save on it...but it still froze a lot!

I'll probably just buy the damn game next month but I also don't like to give up, I mean, games don't beat me, I beat games!

Mine works perfectly, no crashes at all (150+ events)
Basically all you have to do is ARM patch the game, use the new rudolph's patcher and use the settings with latest U disk and loader (5.1, 4.8):

DoFAT, Force R/W, Trim Rom and Software Reset.

Should work just fine.
Make sure to patch the game yourself, just so you can be sure it's the proper fix. Stevetry has a thread in Rom hacking.

Copying from another post, here is how I got it to work:

Thanks to HolyRoses for the suggestion on using the arm7 from Pokemon Platinum.
Thanks to the creators of the programs mentioned.

1) Load and unpack your Pokemon Platinum using DSlazy.
2) Copy the arm7.bin file from it somewhere you can remember.
3) Load and unpack your HG/SS using DSlazy.
4) Replace the arm7.bin file with the one you copied.
5) Repack the game, at this point it will save, but will still freeze.
6) Drag this game to the Rudolph patch folder, and run the patch.
7) Now the game will save, and will not freeze.
8) Enjoy!

I am testing the freezing with this arm7.bin now, and it's great so far.

Firmware updated, used two types of patch, tried the arm7 injection, and the arm7 copy-paste also, with 10 games. ( Pokemon Platinum, SimsCity and much other )
But still doenst work... I always get a 120MB Rom, which dont even start on my DS.

I have a big question - i know, i cant ask for roms, so i ask it right this:

Can you send me a link, where can i find and already patched, tried on G6 with success HG or SS?

Man that's the same thing. Asking for the link is asking for the rom
you have to look in youtube and google. that's how i got mine
so i dont think anyone will send u one

Arm7 patch a clean HG/SS rom with Platinum.

And I think the settings I used was SAfeMode + Trim.
