I got a simple question about this game, do I need to buy it to take full advante of it? I mean... i know this game has some truly unique features, like for instance, when zelda was released, people got some promocional item on their mail box lol

What I would like to know is... if I play this game on my R4DS, or in any other slot-1/slot-2 solution, would I still got the promotional item? Is there any real advantage on owning the real game?

you get a box and an instruction manual, even a cart with an animal crossing sticker on the front.
Other than that...no...no advantages, everything else works as it would with a real game, on or offline.

Don't get me wrong, I tottaly into buying games that are worth it.. it's just that.. im not really good in economical terms right now =P
