You are correct in a formal sense but some dialects retain the distinction between a singular and plural you with different words for example using you guys is popular in some states more so than others. No one really speaks in formal English and most everybody uses another word along with you to specify a group which is why in my last post I said generally but way to gloss over details. In any case you are correct so let's just drop it.It means a group as much as it means an individual. The 2nd person singular and plural pronouns are both 'You'. I can't believe I actually have to explain this.
Code:| Singular | Plural 1st | I | We 2nd | You | You 3rd | He/She | They
I believe he mentioned he tried the ctrtransfer and it failed, so he may need one that skips some checks but I assume they are there for a reason. Wouldn't the xorpads be kinda ruined since he falshed another consoles stuff over? Seems like a lot of trouble rebuilding bad xorpads.I was going to say that, seeing as he has decrypt9 access he should be OK to do a ctrtransfer, he may need a version that skips some check's, but I'm not 100% sure as the normal ctrtransfer copies some system specific files from the nand, but if he already done a ctrtransfer they should already be backed up
I haven't gathered if he has a9lh currently setup or if he just refuses to turn off the system and accept his brick, I guess he could generate all his nand xorpads, and try rebuild a legit nand manually on his pc then reflash
This isn't "formal" English, it's just English, no matter where you're from. The claim that "some dialects retain the distinction" is just plain wrong, because if that were true they would be using You as plural and Thou as singular. Many English speakers use a different construction to specify that they're referring to or addressing a group (you guys, y'all, yous, etc., but even then they certainly won't use such constructions every single time), but virtually no native English speakers will use the word You to only ever refer to a singular individual (i.e. to use the word You to refer to more than one person would be considered incorrect). You are correct in a formal sense but some dialects retain the distinction between a singular and plural you with different words for example using you guys is popular in some states more so than others. Again you're glossing over details, I already said I was wrong by saying you were right but I will say that there is a formal English and informal English and which area will have a different way of speaking it kinda like slang can be different from place to place but yes you are correct so again can we drop this already? You said that You does not refer to a group. It's okay to admit you were wrong.
1. yeah the checks are there to prevent people aimlessly screwing up their system with stuff, but if you know what your doing, or your screwed either way I would prefer working with some bits broken than not working at all, as I mentioned the ctrtransfer dumps some "mission critical" stuff before it begins, a new ctrtransfer is probably failing because it cant do this, but seeing as he already ran a ctrtransfer he probably already has all the files he would need if he want to try manually fix stuff himselfI believe he mentioned he tried the ctrtransfer and it failed, so he may need one that skips some checks but I assume they are there for a reason. That's also assuming he didn't delete said files but OK I do remember that part of the old a9lh method but I wasn't here for the super early manual method, I remember a program would do it for you so how would he go about doing it manually.1. yeah the checks are there to prevent people aimlessly screwing up their system with stuff, but if you know what your doing, or your screwed either way I would prefer working with some bits broken than not working at all, as I mentioned the ctrtransfer dumps some "mission critical" stuff before it begins, a new ctrtransfer is probably failing because it cant do this, but seeing as he already ran a ctrtransfer he probably already has all the files he would need if he want to try manually fix stuff himself
no, he could still generate xorpads, he would be unable to decrypt the current nand, but he could use those xorpads to re-encrypt a manually rebuilt nand, this is actually what the old n3ds a9lh setup involved
and yeah its probably all too much work for the OP seeing as following a guide was too much work, but its a option I guess if he wanted to do the homework and try redeem himself from his silly mistakes

Many, or just the ones with IQs of less than 80?Many English speakers use a different construction to specify that they're referring to or addressing a group (you guys, y'all, yous, etc.,

Yea I already read three times because it's kinda funny but it doesn't explain the entire inner thoughts which is what my post was meant to mean.
assuming CTR Autofix would fix the mismatch of the header and etc.
I have searched and cant find anyone in my particular situation
Yes... it does....I know I should of just switched SD cards and did a NAND backup but i misread where it said I would only lose saves and etc. Then as i scrolled down i seen the part about having to update with a Card with 6.0 firmware or lower and above 4.0 lol

honestly I'm not 100% sure it's possible , but first thing first would be dumping all your xorpads, from there it would be a matter of rebuilding a full nand by getting decrypted versions of each of the sections and re-encrypting them with the xorpads, in the case of the ctrnand he would probably have to inject his own console specific files (secureinfo_a etc) once the ctrnand partition is restoredThat's also assuming he didn't delete said files but OK I do remember that part of the old a9lh method but I wasn't here for the super early manual method, I remember a program would do it for you so how would he go about doing it manually.
Every day I wonder if people can get any more stupid when it comes to hacking their 3DS .. and everyday I realize oh yes .. they can. This whole thread just left me with "I can't even ..". There's nothing I can really add, people have told you off already anyways. I've read about a lot of stupid shit on this forum but this is a new low - flashing a backup from a different 3DS thinking it'd be okay?! .. Just fucking *sigh*.
Sending your console to Nintendo is very scummy considering you broke it by being retarded. I hope they don't replace it because you don't deserve it.
Reread the OP - they were expecting the ribbing and doing so is granting their dying wish.Calm down. We all started somewhere. I suggest looking at this:

But he made a backup. Of another 3DS XDWhy did you even make this thread? You're boned. Make a backup next time.
This thread was the guy's first post. I'm thinking troll. Why did you even make this thread? You're boned. Make a backup next time.
