On my new HP DV5 9600m gt

Its just out of the box, after decrapifying and installing that driver
i installed Gears of War PC and ran it, edited to max configuration, including (antialasing/on. i think thats the problem)
turning antiallasing on requires restart of Gears of War to take effect
Ever since, gears of war crashes with (startup.exe has stopped working)
and even another game (resident evil 4) crashes too. it does not before. (game_me.exe has stopped working)
event log error: (for resident evil 4)
Faulting application game_me.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x46161550, faulting module d3dx9_30.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a783, exception code 0xc0000135, fault offset 0x0006ecfb, process id 0x458, application start time 0x01c9aaad1832d46c.
anyone knows how do i fix this problem?
