Homebrew All Emulators Don't Work

They are run on the homebrew channel. Everytime one is loaded it goes to a black screen and Wiimote is turned off.
Other homebrew stuff works fine.

The emulators used to work fine a month ago, but just recently it just stopped. :S I haven't changed the console
in anyway.

Any ideas?

Which emulators are you using? If you haven't updated the GX emulators (SNES9x GX, FCE Ultra GX and Visual Boy Advace GX), it's time to do so. They were updated 3 days ago.

Same thing for me, all was ok with Snesgx005 or 006 but none when i've updated to 007 or 008.
Same problem with VBA GX, all was ok with 004 but no more with 005 or 006.

They don't work no more now, same problem as for Base (black screen and wiimote shut off)

=> Pal Wii with Gamma 0.3 Channel / Menu Launcher / 3.2E update / Starfall

I have the same problem. Snes9XGX boots to an unresponsive black screen. I have changed the console, though - downgraded to 3.2E and installed starfall. Haven't used 9xgx for a while, though, so I don't know when exactly it stopped working.

Looks like those with a PAL Wii are facing this problem. Maybe its a problem with your console's video mode. Is it possible to change it in the settings?

Yes. Tried that. Didn't change anything.

I really think it's connected to the latest HBC update.

That's the same thing as me. 006 used to work fine on mine, then it just randomly stopped working.

hm... i've got the latest hbc and all the latest emulators and everything works fine.

Do you guys get a message like "preferences resetted" at the start of Snes9x or FCEUltraGX ?
If your emulators start but won't load any rom you have the "400+ entries"-bug (ask djdynamite

)

Yup. HBC and all Homebrew applications run fine. Emulators just don't start - Black screen.

I got SNES9XGX to work again by uninstalling DVDx.

Can an IOS or CIOS of any kind be the guilty one ?

Because I haven't got DVDx installed in my Wii...

Yep, looks like its DVDx that makes the emulator stop working. I just uninstalled it and now all the emulators work again.

Also if anyone asks, use Any Title Deleter to delete it. Its under Hidden Channels.

But now putting anything into the Snes9X save files folder is giving me a code dump.
