Hello everyone,
I'm gonna change my GPU for my PC soon (going to upgrade it for something better)
However, my current GPU is still good shape (not for today's video game but still. It's a RTX 3060ti 8GB)
I'm also learning AI stuff and I'm thinking of learning more about all that and probably going to school or get a job in that field.
I was wondering if getting/building another machine with my old GPU would be a good investment if I go down that path.
I could do stuff on my main PC (video game, learning or whatever) while my secondary machine would do other AI stuff (laerning, generating, etc.) without saturating my main PC's ressources.
If it is a good investment, what do you think I should look for? A mini PC? A full grown ATX tower PC? Or are there some pre-built hardware that would better fit my needs?
Apparently, the most important part for AI-learning is a good GPU. Do you think my RTX 3060ti 8GB would be good enough? Also, do I need a good CPU for that? Or any regular CPU would do the job?
I'm looking forward for your answers.
Thanks
