seems pointless/useless as most knowledgeable ds owners have a FLASH CARD and come here to get NARIN'S cheat files

actually saw this the other day in gamestation near the till's it was £9.99 or something like that?!

again tho its pointless unless you BUY your games!

I fail to see what's actually new about this Action Replay "EZ"

But the creepy looking Mime Jr on the cover is pretty funny.

That's true of pretty much every Action Replay revision. Datel practice "planned obsolescence"; it's where you make your product stop functioning after a certain amount of time, forcing people to upgrade. The latest codes will only ever work on the latest Action Replay version.

By "Stop functioning" I assume you mean "Start malfunctioning"

I mean come on, it's freaking Datel, they're transparent, they don't even do their own bloody work these days, relying on breakthroughs in the HOMEBREW community!

No really, can you actually state an example of this in Datel's history, or are you making this up?
I've never heard a single case of codes not working due to older devices.

The only thing I can remotely think of is their encrypted codes on the Gamecube AR, which didn't let anyone hack their own codes easily (so only Datel codes available)

Still, what I mean to begin with was, what's actually NEW in this EZ edition.
In the first "ARDS", you could only use hacked saves
In the second ARDS, you could actually use saves
In the media edition, you could do homebrew, gamesaves, and cheats (and the PC software was updated for vista)

Maybe this EZ AR just works on the DSi...?

Ah yes, you can see the SD slot on it.

...If DSi carts have to use illegally modified roms in order to boot, then, if the AREZDS uses the same method...
