Basically you can think of Acekard 2 as an Acekard RPG without the NAND flash memory. And Acekard + is no longer being produced, so who cares, right?

What's the difference between acekard rpg , acekard 2, and acekard+?
Acekard RPG has a Micro SD slot and on board memory accessable with a USB cord
Acekard 2.1/2i the most recent flashcarts which are similar to the RPG but without on board memory
Acekard+ was the first, or one the the first, flashcarts from Team Acekard, which aren't sold any more as far as I am aware.

rpg also has a better build quality, it is more solid and well constructed. it has a better msd slot and a better spring as well. it will cache your save file so that on the next boot the correct save size is written for the rom, this is something the other acekard products can not do. the rpg is opensource so the firmware can be freely downloaded and altered. the rpg is no longer produced and only 1 or 2 online shops still have it in stock. acekard has dropped official support but the woodrpg (fork of gelu's firmware) firmware is still updated for the rpg. akaio uses close to 90% of the code that gelu and now yellow wood goblin are writing for the rpg in the rpg fixes and the rpg loader.

QUOTEIn 2007, Acekard released its second flash card, the Acekard+. This improved version of the original Acekard used the standard FAT file system common to other flash cards, and supported in most modern operating systems directly (without the need for proprietary client software). The Acekard+ was offered as a free upgrade to all purchasers of the original Acekard in addition to being offered as a separate purchase for new users.
