Hacking About x360 key

I got my x360 key from here , perfectly work with my xbox 360 fit.
x360key consists of 2 parts, a motherboard and a remote.
The motherboard connects to the SATA bus inside the Xbox 360, and sits between the drive and the Xbox 360 motherboard. x360key is a full-fledged computer system running embedded Linux. It is capable of many things such as
- Emulating the Xbox 360 DVD drive
- Reading USB hard drives and other USB media with various file systems
- Updating itself and other hardware from USB media
- Communicating with the remote and other external USB devices
- And a lot more! (embedded Web server and Wifi connectivity for example)

The remote is a simple yet stylish piece of hardware that features an OLED display and 3 buttons. It connects to the x360key motherboard via a high speed USB2 connection. It also has USB for connecting USB hard drives and other devices. The OLED and buttons are used to control various aspects of x360key. It is also used for browsing attached USB media devices and launching games

im looking into this and want to know. do you still need to get the drive keys for the disk drive? or is it along the lines of just install and your good to go?

Edit: just found site said no drive flashing required so this is a no to the needing of drive keys. so im sold.

Edit2: Im wrong you do need the drive keys. need to find easy way of this.

Edit3: offical site says that it doesnt. SO CONFUSED!

You need a dump of the key from your drive, it's a fact. There were plans that the X360Key itself will be able to rip the keys after an update to the software, but they removed that from the homepage, I guess it just wasn't doable. Some retailers offer an installation-service, so maybe you can consider that if you're not capable of extracting the key yourself.

Btw: Right now, the X360Key will ban you from Live. So you might as well consider a JTAG/Glitch hack, because it offers more possibilites.

I am able to get the keys for myself it's just a pain also I'm using an older Xbox for this and have no plans to go online with it. I've got my slim for that
