Gaming About Pokemon diamond....

umm ok i've been playing my retail version of pokemon diamond while my brother has been playing pearl on his m3 simply.

he was gonna start a new game but i was wondering if there was any harm in taking his pokemon? i mean would the pokemon on his flashcard corrupt my game if i traded them over to my game since his isn't a retail version and mine is?

Nope, unless he hacked the Pokemon. But the flash card itself will not cause the corruption.

but what type of hacking am i limited to if i wanted to do it? like this save here uses action replay, does that mean this save file's pokemon would corrupt my game if i traded them over?

I'm fairly sure its not possible to "corrupt someones game" through a trade regardless of how much you hack the Pokemon.

It doesn't matter what they came from.

you have to watch out for "bad eggs", bugged pokemon that can really damage your game always come out as "bad egg".(only causes problems when they hatch)
and you have to be carefull, since some pokemon are banned from GTS(like lvl5 mew) tough those are all "impossible" pokemon(not obtainable without hacks)
