is your circle pad also loose?
i didnt register any input, just the circle a bit loose (like not stable)
i fear that it wears out then detached off the base.or might loosen even more.
fyi, my 3ds is first batch product, came with firmware 1.0

I know what you mean, it rotates left and right a little?
my 3ds is also 'first batch' and its the same, i think all 3ds are dw bout it.

My original 3DS had this issue too. I guess its no big deal anyway.

Haven't seen my LL though.

Holy hell that's wobbly.
I have an original 3DS from the time it was out and nope, that doesn't happen.
Don't worry about it though, I'm pretty sure it won't come off loose or anything. ;)

I see. Thanks for the input. I thought I spoiled it by playing ssfiv too much :P

Mine does that too, I think that's about right, it might even be an proposital behaviour. It's better that it's a little loose and it has some vibration than it won't absorb much energy and it will have a longer life. This concept is used in the glass of bus's windows, if they aren't a little loose they wouldn't vibrate and they would explode with pressure, it's something about the physics.

The rubber on mine never acted like that. A cousin of mine ripped it off once, though.
Behind the rubber is a black circle pad shaped just like the rubber above it. I actually found this to be more comfortable, so I kept it off. You could always put it back on if you want.

I don't think my issue is on the rubber, and I don't wanna rip mine off D:
How did you even manage to rip the rubber? Lol

Ah, my bad, sorry.
I wasn't there at the time my cousin did it, but I imagine that it was worn off or something like that. >_
