Hacking A question regarding to the new Gamma version.

I have an american Wii console (NTSC) is it possible to run PAL games using the backup loader 0.3 Gamma without risking the console itself? and without patching the PAL game? is it safe?

Force NTSC. Do NOT update from the disc and you will be fine.

Nothing bad about it, as above stated, force NTSC and the gamma loader auto-skips updates.

in the config of the gamma loader there a few options, one is "Force NTSC"
just set it to yes before loading the game

Actually that has partially been fixed. It is really quite safe now with the death toll a quite acceptable 100-200.
