Homebrew A fast GBA emulator on O3DS...

Since the release of *hax 2.5 not to long ago, i havent heard of anything from anyone about making their emulators faster on the o3ds. So is it even possible for any dev to make a fast running gba emulator for the o3ds?

P.S.: I'm new here so im sorry if i sound like a noob...

Probably, some may just not take the time to do it xD I bet there will be a patch for some of them soon. After all, hax 2.5 is less then a week old

As of right now there is no full speed GBA emulator for the o3DS UNLESS you have a kernel hack for 9.2 or below. However, if you are on 9.2 or below, you can use .cia injection to run GBA games at full speed. If you are above 9.2 then you are out of luck, at least for now.

Basically, if you are above 9.2, then you have to wait for another kernel hack.

I hope so man, I'd love to be able to play Mother 3, I just wish I had the GBA games that people got for getting the O3ds prior to its price drop. Its sad because not only do I have the O3ds, but also no gba games. I should've gotten the xl, and I still regret it to this day

Probably, I'm sure you could replace roms, but they'd probably run slow

Mother 3 doesnt run so good on N3DS anyway. Well, its definitely playable but the music quality is horrendous and the FPS can be all over the place at times.

same reason here... I can totaly play mother 3 on my mac or even wii, but its not the same because want to have the game on me at anytime i want.

Edit: i might even start to play mother 4 on my mac for the wait. just to tone me down a bit.
