Hacking a DSi ware question

so finally im getting a dsiware game thats supported for the 3ds 11.8 cfw tutorial and its called 99Moves and im wondering what will happen if you use an unsupported dsiware game for cfw? does it make the game not work or does it brick your 3ds?

An unsupported game will simply fail to import. No harm will be done to the system.
Might ruin your save file if you didn't backup the .bin file though.
