Hacking A couple questions about uninstalling preloader

OK I read the recommended way to uninstall preloader is to reinstall your system menu with wad manager or Any Region Changer.
I'd prefer to use the wad manager, as my internet connection is slow and unreliable.

I found a wad called WiiSystemmenu-v417.wad, is that the correct wad to reinstall System Menu 4.0 on an NTSC-U Wii?
EDIT: YES

Another question: If I did reinstall System Menu 4.0, would I lose cIOS and the Homebrew channel?
EDIT: Now that I think about it, probably not. But hopefully someone can correct me if I am wrong
