A Bumpy Ride launches on PC as a casual cosy train driving adventure

Do you find yourself wanting to replay The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, but hate all that sword-slashing action filler? Do you just want to jump on the rails and get some passengers and cargo from point A to point B? Well do I have a game for you! Popping up on my Steam feed today and getting an instant purchase, we have A Bumpy Ride. I have admittedly only put an hour into this game so far, but I am already in love. At its core we have the simple and fun train controls and general aesthetic of Spirit Tracks, with the focus here just being the trains. No action, only driving. For some that will be a turn off, I acknowledge, but boy does it feel good to jump back into.

From making these journeys you'll get money to upgrade your train, expand your map, and reach more of the region. The gameplay loop is simple, with the game falling into that category of being a bit of a mindless decompress more than anything stressful or intensive. I'm looking forward to playing more, and if you're interested in checking it out for yourself, you can find it on Steam below.

My eyes stumbled on the 2nd screen before reading any word and I knew what this was about

Idk if I'm buying it, but for now it's getting into my wishlist

Don't forget about those gamers who thought Animal Crossing went totally downhill after you got off the train.

And don't get me started about how damn annoying all those villagers are, lol

I got it to run pretty well on my Astra using gamenative, but the controller support is pretty lacking in the game and touch input from gamenative is also not optimized for the click and drag the game expects for pure mouse play.

Animal Crossing for GC was peak for the steam train. Taxi, Bus, Railcar, and Plane can all bite me.

THAT IS LITERALLY SPIRIT TRACKS 2!!!

Staring at a train on the outside isnt as interesting as fun as from the inside or atleast close up.
This does look cute though, worth it to try the demo once.
