My Wii is off on an adventure so I can not test it but I had one of these shipped to me instead of an 8 gig CF flash card for my SLR camera, the shipper said to keep it (great!) but will it be recognized by the Wii as a 2 gig card? (which is fine) I just want it to be used, even if only at 1/4 its potential.

Technically, non-SDHC SD cards are max at 2 GB, i.e. Wii can only read up to 2GB SD cards. Is that right?
As for dumping, if it's a dual-layer disc (say 8.5 GB), does it mean one has to dump the contents for 5 times (to get 8.5 GB)?
