Can anyone tell me what the Disc autostart hacks are supposed to do? I have tried both being on, and I can't get it to do *anything* at all.

It´s v417.

So its for PAL/E

You are U. So it will not work sorry.
Or you need the hack for your region.

417 is NTSC-U. 418 is Pal

Can anyone tell me what the Disc autostart hacks are supposed to do? I have tried both being on, and I can't get it to do *anything* at all.

They are supposed to start the disc in the drive right away without entering the system menu. I don't know why the bottom hack is there, though, or how it's supposed to work, and I haven't tested the "hold right" version either.
