Every third party Genesis controller I find is a 6 button one. Are there any third parties that make the 3 button controller? While I could buy a used official one for cheap, the last time I bought a used one didn't turn out so well (and is the reason I'm hoping for a third party one).

I came across this. Saw it recommended by one person on a Reddit thread, however, the odd-looking shape and 3.5-star rating don't really help to inspire confidence.

As an alternative, you could always get an adapter for first-party 3-button controllers.
I take it then that there are no new 3 button third party controllers. Also, a Genesis to USB adapter doesn't really solve my issue of not having a 3 button controller. If it was USB to Genesis, I may be able to find a 3 button styled USB controller.

On a side note, I commend you for having a Draco avatar.

Ah, my bad. For whatever reason, I thought you were looking to use the controller on PC.

A second search also brought up this, so it may be worth checking out. Not sure how trustworthy the site is, though.

Also, thanks.

That may work. I'll just have to look into how trustworthy that site is.

There is also the Joyzz. It's a great wireless option. While it is 6-button, it can be put into 3-button mode so that it's compatible with all the games that have issues with 6-button controllers. It also can be put into SMS mode for complete compatibility with those handful of troublesome games.
