Hacking 3in1+ Question

Hey all. I have a question about the 3in1 and GBA cheats.

Is it possible to use an old Gameshark GBA with the 3in1 if a GBA game is flashed to the NOR? So I can use the cheats on it as if it were an actual cart?

As long as the game didn't require any extensive patching, you can use the gameshark/action replay to cheat.
