There's a new system update for the 3DS: ver. 9.1.0.

It seems to be Japan-only,(with N3DS)

History of my 3DS 9.0 emunand and smash bros save;

1). I updated to 9.0 emunand by mistake and i had to format my emunand via gateway menu.
2). Emunand is restored to 8.1.0 firmware via smash bros rom and now smash bros is asking for 1.0.2 patch in order to use my save.

Is it possible download ssb 1.0.2 patch files from legit retail game from separate 3ds and copy the files/folder over to use on my gateway 3ds ?
(I'm not sure if the patch file is extdata or saved elsewhere on 3ds sdcard).

no, not going into details, but the only way you get the 1.0.2 patch back is if you backed up emunand after downloading the patch but before updating to 9.0

it happened to me today,and force me to go to home menu,the only way is probably delete the game files stored on sd card
didnt do it though waiting for GW update

I can play smash bros but i have to start again lol and so just waiting game now from GW team.

I made the mistake of updating via my emunand (not my non-gateway mode state) How do I restore my emunand so I can play my games again? I have the backup of the nand. if it's needed.

I have a Japanese 3ds LL. Has anyone who updated to the 9.1 firmware that came out today, had any trouble with a Supercard DSTWO? I doubt that they would block it after the major revision 9.0 but I just want to make sure. Thanks...
