Hardware 3ds dpad trouble.

Hello new to forum. My 3ds in menus and in game is constantly moving up like I am pressing up on the dpad. Tried calibrating the circle pad so I know it's the dpad. And please no call nintendo, did that already and don't have the hundred to spare to send it in. Anybody have any suggestions?

If you're willing to open it to fix yourself, you can check for any oxidation signs on the d-pad's contacts or if the "rubber" that makes contact is stuck. On the first case you have to clean and treat the contacts, on the second, buy a replacement on sites like dealextreme.

I have the same problem with the analog stick of the 3ds xl. It sticks....
