I have a handful of questions about my 3DS. Thing is I got CFW on my 3DS following this extensive guide here https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki

Everything went well and works as intended but I've questions regarding what I can do.

1.- Say I want to use a bigger SD Card for my 3DS needs. Do I have to repeat the above steps ALL over again, or just copy-pasting from the SD Card I use now to a newer one suffices?

2.- Does the CFW get updates to match the OFW? If so how can that update be done? Is it advisable to do it?

Thanks in advance.

assuming you go with arm9loaderhax, you can just copy files to the new SD. if it's 64gb+ you'll have to format it first (you can use EmuNAND9 for that)

you can update through system settings like normal at the end

Nothing wrong happens if I update or is it not recommended for reasons?

nothing bad will happen
I see. I don't think I will be using a 64 gb one though, prolly 32 or lower, so I guess I don't have to format? Btw another question. If I delete a game from the SD Card, its savedata will be lost as well? If so how can it be saved?

no, but might be a good idea to do that anyway.

use something like JKSM to export the save before deleting it.

arm9loaderhax doesn't imply sysNAND-only CFW. It allows it and the guide leads to it but still, that sentence sounds a bit misleading.
Anyway, if a redNAND/emuNAND is still used, just format the new SD card with emuNAND9 with the right option (to create a redNAND/emuNAND), backup the redNAND/emuNAND from the old SD and restore it on the new one.

fair enough, but most people are going to end up using sysnand with plailect's guide, so there would be no need to format the new SD card for emu/rednand.

So basically I put the new SD card, format it, then after that I copy the stuff from the old SD card and put it on the new one? That it?

if you stay with red/emunand, yes. you don't need to if you go with sysnand.
I kinda forgot what either mode implied. Iirc, Rednand was the "alternate" menu of the 3DS when installing all this stuff and Sysnand was the "original" one? So ummm..........what does it mean if I stay with Red or if I will go to sysnand? Sorry if I ask too much, but I never really understood what each thing meant too deeply, all I did was follow the instructions and I have a very basic understanding of all of this '-'

emunand/rednand was used for a long time to keep your sysnand on 9.2 and lower but you could stay updated with emunand on your SD card.

at the end of plailect's guide if you follow it exactly, you wouldn't be using emunand/rednand anymore. with arm9loaderhax, it's no longer necessary because it runs before the operating system. so emunand/rednand is kind of more hassle than it's worth.

if you followed every step of the guide then you are on sysnand the original one ONLY

I'm confident I followed everything to the end letter and final dot. So that means I can just copy-paste and be happy with it right?

Also how is JKSM used like?

https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSM/releases

copy "homebrew" to the root, and install JKSM.cia.

it should be self-explanatory how to use. find the game you want, then export/import save data.

yes you should be able to just copy and paste.

Pretty cool, my DAW (MPC 2,0) has whats called "Stem Separation". It will take any sample and split the sample into different tracks and filter sounds, example: Will separate to 4 tracks, 1 for bass, 1 for vocals, 1 for drums, 1 for rest. https://www.akaipro.com/stems.html
