playing monster hunter noticed that the c-stick must be pressed much harder for camera went down, I thought I was just imagining, but then I found about the calibration menu and realized that it was actually not my imagination, stick tilts perfectly in all directions except the bottom, reaching end zone of stick is quite difficult, you need to press very hard. Any solutions?
Im also have a few broken psp's ( slim 3008 and street i believe), can i somehow use their caps for mod?
P.S. Also tried with piece of cloth, getting same result, down still pushes harder than other directions.

i have the same issue. What you can do is: open the 3ds backplate and go to the position where the c stick is built in in the motherboard, and then see if the problem is the mechanism itself or if the rubber nub just needs to be readjusted. If its the mechanism, you can buy a new one for 50 euros, and if its the second option then you just have to take the nub put it straight down.
I think this problem comes from, us players pushing too hard against one direction because when we get sweaty fingers, the c stick gets slippery, so we push/pull harder.
Im sure you just need to re-adjust it. For both options you have to open the console.

I can live with this issue but if it gets worse, then i will just try to repair it. Everything is fixable, good luck :)

Usually its just the rubber/plastic nub has cracked, you can get a new one on amazon for 10 bucks.
