Ha yes I have 4G on both my phone and PC the speed is good real good actually but I didn't see a real big difference when it comes to downloading maybe u have to have all your bars ummmm

Alot of my friends have iPhones, one of them doesn't know how to download an app, the rest of them can't configure anything in the settings without saying "ZOMG I BROKEDED IT!!".

4G Right now could in theory be called 3.5G, because 4G doesn't exist in the public market for Cell Phones yet.

I lol at the iPhone users who are dumb enough to believe the 4 stands for 4G. I don't laugh at the one's that do research, just the one's that assume and eternally insist that the 4 in iPhone = OMFG LAWLZORZ I GOTS 4G U DONT! ROFLCOPTER!

I'm pretty sure it's because most of the people think 4G stands for "4th Generation", just like for iPods

I'm just gonna throw this out there. LTE is also not 4G, it still doesn't meet the required speeds to be considered 4G.

If I remember right the peak speed of the fastest connection for a phone was 140some Mbits/s while the requirement for stationary speeds is around 1 Gbit/s and while mobile is 100 Mbits/s meaning they aren't even close to real 4G.

so. that doesn't tell us anything about this test results. plus how many of the competitor phones have the confusion of being 4th generation altering the results?

in case you don't remember when the iphone 4 came out there was a lot of confusion with 4G (generation) meaning 4G service. so at least some iphone users have an excuse to be confused.

To be honest I think Verizon's iPhone would need 4G to compete with the speed of AT&T's 3G...


Edit: To add I know my iPhone has 3G, especially when it says "3G" when I'm not connected to Wifi...seriously how stupid can some people be.

@Veho:- Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Inspire 4G etc....

I'm pretty sure that the number of people having those few cellphones doesn't add up to 29%.

There are many many more 4G Android phones. There are like 7 on T-mobile alone.
