Hacking 3 in 1 wont save

none of my gba games will save on my ez 3 in 1 have tried patched / clean roms loading with exploader 0.57
exptool 1.9d ezv menu gbaldr also tried the above on an r4 and no luck all games ive tried say save data corrupted
i even formated my sram by uploading a 512kb sram.bin with nothing but FF's in it
still wont work worked before using the newest kernal (multirom one) now doesnt

have original ezv
original 3 in 1
kernal 1.85a
sandisk 2gb x2

any help appreciated

I never had 3-in-1 but I remember people talking about doing something manually to persist their saves after saving in GBA games, they did something to make save, persistent.

Sounds like a problem with your SRAM battery. If you open up the flashcart you'll see a small battery inside. The battery might be either dried up or not connecting well.

have replaced it and still no joy also occasionally when i copy a game to the psram it starts the norchip instead
