yo i was looking for shader caches for ryujinx and i found a dump of raw .nca files of a 2016 prerelease prototype of a yooka laylee game for the switch. its on archive.org.

the original post said it was pulled out of a switch development model and is supposed to run on firmware 0.7. the original poster didnt include any keys and every single tool ive used to try and compile the files into a working .nsp or .xci has failed.

i tried compiling it with nscb but that didnt work at all because the app itself is broken
decrypting the files didnt work
nxfileviewer didnt work
trying to datamine files straight out of the .nca didnt work either

this is the link

alright well the mods removed the link but i have the files locally. does anybody perchance have the keys for firmware version 0.7 or maybe an SDEV?

Without the keys of that specific unit, you will never be able to decode the nca files, regardless of whatever firmware it wass on.
Your neighbor might have the exact same house as you but the your keys won't open his front door.
That is the whole point of encryption.

If you have the source files, you should be able to compile them with a higher firmware are everything is backwards compatible.
Maybe SDKs will deprecate function calls but you could always try an older SDK if you get compile errors about missing functions.
