Homebrew 2 icons missing, previous Wii U owner modded the console

Hello, I don't know anything about homebrew for Wii U. I have recently purchased the console but I'm missing the vWii and Disc Channel. I heard that's because of RegionHax or something like that. I don't know anything about the console and would like to get the 2 icons. Can anyone help?

No, I meant the channels. They exist but I can't start them.

This is a well known side effect of regionhax

To resolve the issue you need to remove RegionHax (replace the regionfree number with your proper region number) once done you need to create a new account or reformat the Wii U and your disc Channels will be back.

Follow the instructions here just be super cautious as if you get region hax wrong you will end up with a semi bricked WiiU.

You know damn well that he means the icons are missing as in they aren’t on his home menu at all and he can’t start them as in they aren’t on his home menu at all. It’s the exact same issue just worded in different ways. Why are you like this?
