ROM Hack 10.1 Browser Nag.. Does Format System Memory force an update?

O3DS 10.1 with browser nag

I launch OOTHAX and find Link in the room before it kicks me to Home and "an error has occurred"

I used OOTHAX offline and the payload for my Sys-Version. It appears the OOTHAX went to the cart correctly.

Any ideas?

Lol this is wierd. You should try to re-install oothax, you already have a backup of your save, right? Open svdt and delete all the savexxx.bin and payload.bin, then run xploit_installer again (please double check you select the version+model for the 3ds you're trying to downgrade)

Thanks for your help.. So odd, i still get Link in the room, press anything/Items.. Freeze..

Ouch, i also had my o3ds on 10.1 and i had to borrow my cousin's oot, it worked fine though

edit: not sure if this matters, but you're supposed to press A after save loads, it should freeze then load the exploit (top screen will be like a TV not tunned and bottom screen will be changing colors).
You can also try downloading the ropbin in here: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ rename it to payload.bin and inject it to the cartridge with svdt

You have to press A once the save loads (on the highscore thing you start next to in the house), if you do anything else like walk outside, use items etc. the exploit won't work.

Thanks, I tried to use the ropbin for my version but it give me an error when trying to inject via svdt or OOTHAX-offline. So i tried the otherapp payload again.. I pressed A but it still kicks me to Home. I just cant see whats wrong.

Just to update,I managed to get around the problem! I used the save00.bin in the oothax-offline installer package to manually inject the save with svdt.. For some reason using OOTHAX said it was successful but never did work. Odd but there we go, HBL at last Thanks for all your help
