    Anyone got a PAL wiiware game to work on a Jap wii yet? I just tried TOkiToki using free the wads with 1)region free 2)Set to Jap region both did not work and resulted in a black screen after launching the game. Maybe our jap wii can only play NTSU/U wiiware games?

    NTSC-U/PAL copies (backup/real) of mario galaxy will not work on your JAP Wii. As usual it is a region problem and has nothing to do with the extra game protection on SMG. However, if you are really desperate to know for sure, do buy a copy and tell us if it was money well spent

    It could be that the drive is starting to spoil? I have just recently had problems with the audio in High School Musical on my Wii....the music would skip like a scratched CD. Reducing the DVD drive speed to 3x seems to have fixed it so far. Maybe its a sign to get that US Wii you want.

    Hm...well just play the JAP version then. Once NTSC-U doesnt work, JAP Wii owners are pretty much stuck with the JAP version of any game. Too bad for us... As the saying goes...."you get what you pay for". Buy the cheaper JAP Wii, get a lesser Wii!
