    i think the GBA is just dead weight..., like yes you will lose the guitar hero grip and some other things, but who cares, the GBA is pretty much dead anyway with no new releases in ages...     when i went on the year 12 (final school year) camp, i took my collection of flash carts preloaded with some good multiplayer games, it was fun as handing them out and having this multiplayer frenzy going on in one of the rooms.

    check that the soldering point arnt bridged (joined), i brought a WiiKey2 + clip pre soldered, and i had the same problems... it was an easy fix, just unsolder the bridge and it worked fine
