Hacking Fake M3 cards?
Whew! Thanks for the reply. I had not seen pictures of such a card anywhere and the build quality looked a little questionable. Maybe it's just me. I feel better now. Looking forward to trying the M3 when my MiniSD card finally arrives.- UnknownShadow

Maybe I'm still a bit paranoid about the fake Sandisk cards on eBay but I just received a M3 Perfect MiniSD from http://www.gamersection.ca and the card looks nothing like the M3 cards I have seen in all of the reviews? Instead of the usual white plastic casing as seen on the official M3 site...- UnknownShadow

Nope, I was referring to Moomba in this thread... http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=39758 He bought a 2GB Sandisk MiniSD from eBay that did not work in his M3. I also purchased this card but from a different seller. Mine has not arrived yet. Nice to hear that Qpido got his working though...- UnknownShadow

Since another poster just got burned with this I am wondering how many people here have unknowingly purchased FAKE Sandisk cards off of eBay and had them fail in their M3 adapters? Hacking not reading my freshly formated 2gb mini sd card
Did you happen to buy the Sandisk 2Gb MiniSD off of eBay? The majority of those are fake so maybe that is the problem? I just purchased a Sandisk 2Gb card off of eBay before I found out about all the fakes. I haven't received it yet but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it will work with my M3...- UnknownShadow

@SylverReZ, in my experience, I wouldn't say I am an audiophile because to me MP3s seem fine, frequency cut off but good enough lol although in my laundry list of freak gifts... Is the ability to hear frequencies beyond what anyone else I have ever met... I max out hearing tests with shocked looks from the Drs, sad part is I can hear frequencies much higher.+1

@Psionic Roshambo, As somebody who has listened to music over everything, I prefer some good quality headphones that can output the sharpest audio. I listen to my music mostly with WAVE or FLAC files, with MP3s I can tell the difference straight away by the compression artifacts.+1 -

@Psionic Roshambo, MP3s were designed to be as small as possible, so that they can be shared on the internet. WAVE files were more bigger in size and would take hours to upload back in the day.
