Homebrew app Emulator WasabiGBA! Watara Supervision emulator.

Sorry, I'm new to all this. Could you kindly tell me how to get these emulators set up on my GBA. I'm especially keen to try WonderSwan games on the GBA!

Hardware Shopping for a new battery for my GBA-SP

The Helder battery that Plstic recommended is of good quality, along with Helder's other products. If you're not located in the US or UK and are comfortable with minor soldering, Makho's battery mod is also very reliable. Note that it requires you to print your own pcb, but a few vendors carry...

ROM Hack Help with "The file is too big" error in EZ-Flash Omega

So what i did was use HxD to open the patched rom file. Sterophonick was right when they said that for a 32MB file usable data usually ends at hex address 0x1FFFFFF, but I believe that the patching process alters the data to such an extent that this address does not exist within the file...

ROM Hack Help with "The file is too big" error in EZ-Flash Omega

I repatched and trimmed it with the newest version of the romhack (Beta15). I also added the RTC patch since it's not included with the base patch for some odd reason. I'm not sure how to make an ips patch, but I'll PM you.

ROM Hack Help with "The file is too big" error in EZ-Flash Omega

I've sent you a pm. auto No need; as per my older reply I did in fact manage to trim the rom and get it working on a regular Omega.

Hacking New Theme for EZ-Flash Omega!

I'm playing through Unbound right now and as far as I know, the "Previously on your quest" feature is not part of this hack. Sounds more like a problem with the roms themselves than the kernel. Are you sure you patched the files right? Make sure you used the right rom as a base and that it's the...

Hardware Eternal "Are there good replacement SP shells?" Thread

I'm sure there have been other batches in production since; my point was that the moulds used for the first set of transparent shells are the best so far, even better than the non-transparent shells on the market. If you see a shell that includes buttons with the wrong font or glow-in-the-dark...

ROM Hack Help with "The file is too big" error in EZ-Flash Omega

Thanks, that did the trick! It's my first time using a hex editor and I couldn't find any address named specifically 0x1FFFFFF, but I did delete the stuff after address 0xFFFFF0 and the ROM appears to work fine. In any case, thanks for all the help and also a big thank you for your custom kernel!

ROM Hack Help with "The file is too big" error in EZ-Flash Omega

Thanks for the advice! The patched ROM is indeed about 1KB larger than supposed to be. I tried trimming it with both GBA Tool Advance and NDSTokyoTrim and it doesn't make a difference in size (according to the log for NDSTT the ROM has already been trimmed). Apparently, some emulators don't seem...

ROM Hack Help with "The file is too big" error in EZ-Flash Omega

Hi there! Forgive me for any mistakes as this is my first thread. So I'm trying to play Pokemon Adventures Red Chapter on my SP with an EZ-Flash Omega that I just received, but I keep getting an error saying that the file is too big. Now the ROM is on the large side being 32MB, but I currently...

Hardware Eternal "Are there good replacement SP shells?" Thread

My experience is limited to shells I've personally bought for myself, but the best replacements I can attest to so far are the first batch of transparent shells (good mould quality, build quality, etc). I'd stay clear of the newer transparent shells though as these ones are noticeably worse in...
