    Switch lite no wifi gives error 2110-1118. Nothing modded. Bluetooth works fine. Hardwire networking works fine. Any ideas?

    No. I believe it is shorted internally. The switches I've had with this issue still work with a few exceptions... No wired controllers, can't send a payload, battery drains quicker than normal. Your mileage may vary but this is what I've noticed

    I've had this be both. Sometimes the short is the filter itself but sometimes it's shorted in the processor.

    agreed. even with open data lines you will still get pd fast charge. what I've experienced with open data lines is wired controller will not work, no 5v fast charge, & excessive battery drain.

    His switch is starting just not going to fast charge on a 5v charger. Open data lines are one possibility.

    Were you running Linux? How did you acquire the driver? My system doesn't even recognize the device as being plugged in. I've tried it in Windows & Ubuntu

    Check for continuity on this choke. Does it recognize a wired controller?

    I don't have one. I always assumed it damaged that circuit going through the processor & was not a reflow candidate.

    I've had several of these where the pins in the charge port get bent. This can short the chip in the data lines just above the charger or open the filter just above that resulting in no access to RCM. I've also had it damage the tegra. System still works as normal but the data lines won't...

    What if you don't hook up the backlight or lcd but you dock the switch. Will it show up on a TV?

    What if the lcd is connected but not the backlight? Any bent pins? Have you tried another screen?

    It is possible you are going into rcm because you have it set to autorcm but you aren't able to send a Payload because your data line is shorted or broke. I just corrected one like this by replacing the filter just above the charge port. Now my data lines read again & I can access rcm.

    I usually press down firmly on different locations of the chip while attempting to start the device. If you find the location of the broken solder the system will sometimes start. Then you know where to focus your heat. I've also had significantly more RAM chips need reflow than processors...

    Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
