Homebrew Install games un 3ds (with online)

As long as you only use cia files for online games and don't cheat on pokemon, you probably won't get banned. If you do, you can usually unban yourself. You got this around the wrong way. You update the system, not the games. Feel free to update, hacking will still work.

Hacking r4 change language to english

Launch the R4 cartridge, wait for the menu to load, push the third button, push the top button, and then the top button again to change the language to English. I had to figure this out, because it was in Japanese for some reason.

Just updated to 11.12.0-44E on EmuNAND, and BootNTR Selector does not work. Everything else seems to work though.

Homebrew is it still worth updating luma

The upgrade to boot9strap updates Luma3ds at the same time, and updating gives you: More features More compatibility More stability And more speed You only get improvements when you update it, so you should update.

Hacking Deleting XCI files from my SD card, but space is still unfreed

You may want to remember this trick, as you might need to do this again in future. Also, your Nintendo Switch might be faster now because this also defragments the SD card, so you might want to do it occasionally. Don't do it too often, or it could reduce the life of the SD card. You probably...

Hacking Deleting XCI files from my SD card, but space is still unfreed

Okay, copy everything from the SD card on to your computer, format the card, and then copy everything back. It should now be fixed.

Hacking What's that for a card?

I think that it is an Ace3DS or Ace3DS+. If you want, I can post the Ace3DS+ firmware here.

Homebrew My New3DS gets kinda hot. Is that normal?

It is probably just warming up because of the processors might be doing a lot of processing, the MicroSD card might be in a lot of use, and you might be using a lot of power. Luma3DS could also be increasing the processor clock speed which would generate more heat. As long as the 3DS doesn't get...

Homebrew Turning off the power light?

I know you can turn off the power light, but you can't easily change the brightness unless you are below a certain firmware version and you run homebrew. To turn off the power light, press L + Down + Select, select Toggle LEDs, and press A. Read the warning, and press B 3 times. There is also...

Hacking EZ FLASH OMEGA: various saving problems

Looking at those filenames, the SD card has errors on it. It can be hard to avoid these weird errors, but they are rare. (Unless you don't wait long enough when saving, then it is common, so maybe wait that little bit longer in the future..) But, it can be fixed, and you might not lose any data...

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
